Originally from Massachusetts, I completed a BSc in Behavioral Neuroscience at Northeastern University in Boston, and then a PhD in Neuroscience at McGill University. I moved to France with support from a NIDA-Inserm Postdoctoral Drug Abuse Fellowship in order to pursue my postdoctoral work in the laboratory of Neurophysiologie et Comportement (PIs Faure/Mourot) at Sorbonne Université and the ESPCI Paris. My PD work was recognized with a Jeunes Talents France award from the L'Oréal-UNESCO Pour les Femmes et la Science program in 2021. In 2025 I was recruited to the French Centre Nationale de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) as a permanent researcher (Chargée de Recherche), and I received an ERC Starting Grant (DeMARRe). My research focuses on how experiences in adolescence shape dopamine system development to tune vulnerability and resilience to negative psychiatric and cognitive outcomes in adulthood.
